HiFier Serenade

Configuration

  1. Headphone: Headphone connectors. HIFIER Serenade features 1 stereo headphone output (1/4” TRS).

  2. Line Out: Line level analog signal output connectors (RCA). The signal from selected sound source is sent to external equipments (for example, amplifier) in analog type through these two connectors. User can connect to other equipment’s Line In from here. When you connect to speaker directly, the speaker must be active. Or you have to connect to amplifier before connecting to passive speakers. Red one is right channel and white one is left channel.

  3. S/PDIF Out: Digital signal output connectors. The signal playback in PC can be sent out to external decoder in digital form through these two S/PDIF outputs. HIFIER PCI features both coaxial and optical connectors to connect to different external equipments. S/PDIF Out supports transferring digital non-audio signal. (Ex: AC3 and DTS) These two connections are not available when HIFIER is on stand-alone mode.

There are some information about the system and driver in this page. Users can click the web address to visit our website.

ASIO driver

We also provide ASIO driver for HIFIER PCI exclusive use. Users can use the exclusive ASIO driver in those software players which support ASIO driver.

This is one thing worth to note, if you select to use ASIO driver in software player, the Master Volume in HIFIER control panel will then be the only one item available.
